Every time I see the progressive push in the world to “liberalize it”, I have to go back to the true nature of human beings. No matter how happy someone seems to be, if they are practicing sinful behavior, it only masks their countenance. Resentment and jealousy run rampart in the lives of those who practice ungodly behaviors. This pretending only lasts so long. Eventually you come to a crossroad. You have to decide do I repent and be made right with God, or do I fully, eternally reject Him for this way of life. The consequences that follow are eternal. As it says in Jeremiah 17:9, ““The human heart is the most deceitful of all things, and desperately wicked. Who really knows how bad it is?” When we choose to live worldly, worldly emotions follow. They weigh us down, are dangerous, and eventually destroy all that is good in our lives.
3 A stone is heavy and sand is weighty, but the resentment caused by a fool is even heavier. 4 Anger is cruel, and wrath is like a flood, but jealousy is even more dangerous.
Proverbs 27:3-4
