It is impossible to have “life” while continuing to live in sin. You can’t have God’s best, while rebelling against Him. Sin prevents us from experiencing God. Yet it can help lead us back when contrition takes hold of one’s heart. You can’t be at your best, or expect God’s best when sin is running rampant in your life. Stop believing the lies the world wants to whisper in your ear.
22 You have discouraged the righteous with your lies, but I didn’t want them to be sad. And you have encouraged the wicked by promising them life, even though they continue in their sins.
Ezekiel 13:22
