Bring Our Request To God….

When a situation doesn’t seem like it’s supposed to, you have to take it to God. Then be patient while you trust Him to work it out. Here Moses didn’t have patience. He saw Pharaoh increase the demand on the Hebrew slaves, making their lives more miserable and fearful. He heard the complaints and threats from his own people. So how did Moses react? He complained and whined and accused God of not doing anything about it. How often do we do the same exact thing, when we don’t get our way or things don’t seem to turn out the way we thought they should? Do we complain and whine? I know we are all human, fickle at its finest, but shouldn’t we bring our request to God, and then be patient and trust Him? If you’re struggling today with something that you don’t have answers for, go to God. Ask Him to work it out. Then, with all your might, be patient and trust Him. You’ll be surprised how different your attitude will be when you see the results of your faith. And most importantly, your faith will grow into an experience that will pay dividends in the future. Ask, trust, watch, see. That’s the basic formula of the Christian walk. God knows what He is doing, it’s just a matter of us seeing it, then acting responsibly to Him. Proof is in the pudding.

19 The Israelite foremen could see that they were in serious trouble when they were told, “You must not reduce the number of bricks you make each day.” 20 As they left Pharaoh’s court, they confronted Moses and Aaron, who were waiting outside for them. 21 The foremen said to them, “May the Lord judge and punish you for making us stink before Pharaoh and his officials. You have put a sword into their hands, an excuse to kill us!”22 Then Moses went back to the Lord and protested, “Why have You brought all this trouble on Your own people, Lord? Why did You send me? 23 Ever since I came to Pharaoh as Your spokesman, he has been even more brutal to Your people. And You have done nothing to rescue them!” Exodus 5:19-23
