Just imagine how many times God has protected us from evil/harm? Probably more times than we think. Now, apply that to times when things didn’t go as we planned: do you think maybe it was God protecting you instead of you not getting your way? How about all the times you’ve driven places? Done questionable things? Messed up? Gone to dangerous places? Gotten sick? Injured? Could this have been God’s protection? Just something to think about. Thank Him today for these times. It may be the beginning of Him opening your eyes to the unseen world around us. His invisible hand works tirelessly to surround and defend all who revere Him. It’s just a matter of seeing it through the eyes of faith.
4 I prayed to the Lord, and He answered me.He freed me from all my fears.5 Those who look to Him for help will be radiant with joy;no shadow of shame will darken their faces.6 In my desperation I prayed, and the Lord listened; He saved me from all my troubles.7 For the angel of the Lord is a guard;he surrounds and defends all who fear Him.
Psalms 34:4-7
