If Someone Could Promise You….

If someone could promise you the best pathway for you life, would you take it? If they guaranteed your survival, bending without breaking, would you accept their offer? If someone promised protection from trouble, to provide a hiding place in adversity, surround you with songs of victory, would you jump at the chance? If you could be guaranteed to be surrounded by unfailing love, would you take it? These are just a few things God promises those who are faithful to Him. Life won’t be pretty all the time, but knowing He’s got our back sure is comforting. And knowing He promises our best life when we pursue and follow Him is the best news of all. Knowing that no matter what happens to us, we are loved and promised of a new, perfect home in Heaven, surely helps remind us that there’s more to this life. We are not home yet, but knowing God is for us, certainly helps get us through this uncertain, tumultuous thing called life. He gives us the proper attitude that allows true joy to be had, regardless of our circumstances. No that’s something to be grateful for, right?

 6 Therefore, let all the godly pray to You while there is still time,that they may not drown in the floodwaters of judgment.7 For You are my hiding place;You protect me from trouble.You surround me with songs of victory.Interlude 8 The Lord says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life.I will advise you and watch over you.9 Do not be like a senseless horse or mulethat needs a bit and bridle to keep it under control.” 10 Many sorrows come to the wicked,but unfailing love surrounds those who trust the Lord.11 So rejoice in the Lord and be glad, all you who obey Him!Shout for joy, all you whose hearts are pure!
