Life is found in our relationship with our Creator. Anything outside of that relationship is only temporary satisfaction. When we accept His truth, His plan, and His Sovereignty, we truly find life. There’s no other way to live than to live according to our design. A hammer can break and smash things, buts its design is to drive nails, to build things. When’s it’s used to build, join, and correct badly driven nails, it’s serving its purpose. When we live in opposition to His design, there’s no excuse for our behavior. The consequences that follow have no outside blame. It’s like building your house on an active volcano, sure the views are spectacular, but it’s only a matter of time before the risk outweighs the view. God made us, so we are to be as He created us to be, in His image. We are God’s image bearers for a reason.
