Trading The Space Shuttle For A Bottle Rocket….

Do you know it, when you see people who say they believe in God and yet persecute those that actually do believe and think they are doing God a favor? People say that these people never were true believers to begin with. Paul before conversion is the best example of this. He went out of his way to persecute believers. Until his conversion, he thought he was doing God a favor. Well, here is the Bible backing up that truth. Here, Jesus’ words could never be more backing of the statement, “those that fall away were never believers to begin with”. Think about it, if your are indwelt with the Holy Spirit, you are changed forever. You are united with the very thing you were created for. It’s like a hammer being used to destroy things, but then discovering that driving nails to build stuff brings the significance it always knew it was created for. You’ll never go back to eating bologna when you’ve been given sirloin steak. And the great news is you don’t have to. Pursuing God, really making an all out effort to know Him, is where we find our significance. Abandoning that pursuit is like trading the space shuttle for a bottle rocket, and still expecting to orbit the moon. It just ain’t gonna happen. Those that abandon God, or persecute true believers, thinking they are doing Him a favor, are only pretenders, Hollywood actors playing a role. They aren’t real, because they never were. They are deceived and lead by Satan. Pursue God today. How do you like your steak? I’m a well-done kinda guy.
