Common sense has always been something I look for in people. It’s like a requirement for civility. When a person lacks this simple character trait it shows how far they are from acknowledging God as Creator of the universe. Think about this simple truth: when you accept the truth about creation, you have a reason behind things that you can’t fully explain. For those that believe anything else, they have to make up explanations that seem “right” to them that helps justify their behavior. Knowing truth, or common sense, is the determining factor in which a person can develop into a responsible, relatable human being. It’s one characteristic that is necessary in life. Ask God today to help you channel your common sense, and help others realize the importance of having it. It’s really sad these days that common sense is no longer “common”. Without it, your path will lead you to a life of confusion and instability, and worse yet, incurable insecurity. The not knowing only guarantees a despairing death.
