Integrity matters to me, but most importantly, it matters to God. Integrity is God's character, so pursuing it gives the world a glimpse of what He is like. I’m far from perfect. I have my faults, but that doesn’t stop me from striving to do what is right. In order to deal with others justly, we have to be right with God first. When we are honest enough with ourselves to accept what God gives, and we embrace truth regardless if we like it or not, God grants us the ability to get joy out of our pursuit of integrity. Others may never see this truth, but those that are honest with themselves simply can’t deny integrity matters. The rewards are even better.
3 There is joy for those who deal justly with others and always do what is right.
Psalms 106:3
