Self-sufficiency can be a blessing and a curse. The only difference is how you see it. If you put all of your faith in yourself, eventually God has no room in your life, and selfishness will be the dominating factor at the detriment of your relationships. But if God blesses you with the ability to get things done, without trusting solely in yourself, it’s definitely a blessing that your relationships will benefit. A blessing and a curse, it’s all in how you see it. Ask God today for better spiritual insight, and make necessary changes where you need to. Self-sufficiency that works, is better known as God-dependency. Even though you may work alone and be sufficient, you’re never alone and the result involved Grace. God’s grace is the only thing that’s really sufficient.
11 But watch out, you who live in your own light and warm yourselves by your own fires. This is the reward you will receive from Me: You will soon fall down in great torment.
Isaiah 50:11
