Pride deceives, regardless of what we think. And in that deception, it leads us down the wrong path, away from God. Think about our current political condition. We have one side willing to kill babies up till birth (and even after birth). We have people supporting and promoting homosexual behavior, to the point of indoctrinating our children in kindergarten. And that has led to the destruction of children’s bodies through Trans ideology. How can a Bible-believing, church-going, Jesus-following Christian support that? Simply put, PRIDE. There’s nothing beneficial with being prideful, unless we are purposely running from God, or pretending to follow Him. pride comes before the fall.
