Sometimes we have to go through suffering in order to be set free from the power of sin, from the deception Satan has bound us in. It may be painful, and leave noticeable scars, but it will be worth it to live in the freedom of God’s grace. Thank You Lord, for every moment up until this point. You have shaped me into the person you’ve wanted me to become. The sanctification process isn’t easy or glamorous, but it is worth the finished product, closer to resembling Jesus. Thank You Lord, for all that You have done for me.
1 From my earliest youth my enemies have persecuted me.Let all Israel repeat this:2 From my earliest youth my enemies have persecuted me,but they have never defeated me.3 My back is covered with cuts,as if a farmer had plowed long furrows.4 But the Lord is good;He has cut me free from the ropes of the ungodly.
Psalms 129:1-4
