When a person worships a false god, they forfeit all of God’s blessings, or at least lose the ability to recognize and acknowledge them. It’s one more reason to be careful where we direct our attention. It may end up robbing us of the One place where true joy, significance, purpose, rest, and everlasting peace come from.
