Wisdom comes from God. Embrace it, you benefit. Scorn it, you suffer. There’s no better explanation of the way some people think, trying to understand their lunatic logic, rather than applying this truth to their situation. Only wisdom can explain evil thoughts and behaviors. And only wisdom, knowledge of God, brings good judgement. It’s exactly what Jesus meant when He said, “you will know the Truth, and the Truth will set you free”. Wisdoms comes from experience. And experience changes our outlook when God is incorporated into our life. Aligning with God (through Jesus) is the foundation in which true life is built upon. It all begins with respecting (having a healthy fear of) our Maker.
10 Fear of the Lord is the foundation of wisdom.Knowledge of the Holy One results in good judgment. 11 Wisdom will multiply your days and add years to your life.12 If you become wise, you will be the one to benefit. If you scorn wisdom, you will be the one to suffer.
