Authentic Justice cannot and will not allow sin to go unpunished. We may think it can, but someone will always receive the punishment. Fortunately, for Christians, Jesus received the punishment we deserve. What’s your response to knowing someone took the consequences of your sin on himself? Hopefully, it involves gratitude.
28 Do not be afraid, Jacob my servant, for I am with you,” declares the Lord.“Though I completely destroy all the nations among which I scatter you,I will not completely destroy you.I will discipline you but only in due measure;I will not let you go entirely unpunished.”
Jeremiah 46:28
