Humanly speaking, the key to the Church is based on the content of its members hearts. When the heart is eager to serve God, the Church flourishes in its ability to meet the needs of the world. When it’s looking to get something out of it for selfish reasons, it binds itself and stagnates, affecting all of its members. Set the example, be eager to serve God, and watch the Church accomplish miraculous things only God could orchestrate. He will be glorified and you will radiate from His glory like Moses did after returning from the mountain of God.
2 Care for the flock that God has entrusted to you. Watch over it willingly, not grudgingly–not for what you will get out of it, but because you are eager to serve God. 3 Don’t lord it over the people assigned to your care, but lead them by your own good example. 4 And when the Great Shepherd appears, you will receive a crown of never-ending glory and honor.
1 Peter 5:2-4
