When people speak God’s truth, all those that oppose Him, for whatever reason, think these messengers are crazy and foolish. It’s been going on for thousands of years and still continues today. The names have changed, like crazy and foolish to bigots, homophobes, and haters, but it’s still the same. When you speak truth (hopefully done with love and respect), you will have opposition, sometimes it may even be hostile. And worse yet, the opposition may even come from within the Church. Prepare yourself. Arm yourself with prayer and the Armor of God.
Because of your great sin and hostility, you say, “The prophets are crazy and the inspired men are fools!”8 The prophet is a watchman over Israel for my God,yet traps are laid for him wherever he goes. He faces hostility even in the house of God.
Hosea 9:7-8
