One major difference between believers and non-believers is the outlook in which they have. Believers know what’s ahead of them at the end, a reward. They look at life with anticipation. Non-believers live with the burden of coming judgement. They live life with regret, as if to say, “this is all there is”. Knowing this determines how you live. One has hope, and the other doesn’t. This Hope is what anchors our soul in the storms of life, and helps keep an even keel between the valley and mountaintop moments. Just one more reason to believe.
23 The godly can look forward to a reward, while the wicked can expect only judgment.
Proverbs 11:23
