This proverb couldn’t be more true. It’s something I taught in school. Always, always check your sources. When someone says something that’s to good to be true, it probably is. When a study shows the benefits of something, check to see who’s funding it. You might find the research Is a little monetarily biased. Truth always reveals truth. Lies will always be exposed. Truth will defend itself. Before you believe what you hear, run it through God’s filter first. It will make all the difference in the world. It may just save you from stumbling.
15 Only simpletons believe everything they’re told! The prudent carefully consider their steps.
Proverbs 14:15
