The Bible says the beginning of wisdom is the fear of the Lord. I can’t agree more. We are much better off with having little and honoring God, than having great wealth (without God) that torments your daily life. The more you own, the more it owns you. Your time, talents, and attitude are all stolen by Satan, due to the lack of guidance from God. Without a healthy fear or reverence of God, the more likely you’ll have inner turmoil. That’s a place I never want to visit, even for just one a day.
16 Better to have little, with fear for the Lord, than to have great treasure and inner turmoil.
Proverbs 15:16
