People argue that there is no God. The Bible says in Romans that Nature is His witness, and that we are without excuse. Here in Psalm 89 we see the moon called God’s faithful witness in the sky. We know that a rainbow is a reminder of the covenant between God and man (Noah) to never flood the earth again. Nature is our natural (perceived with all of our senses) witness of God’s existence. Just as a building has a builder, and a painting has a painter, so creation has a Creator. The other evidence for God’s existence come from His revelation to us through the Bible. So we have natural evidence, and supernatural evidence of God’s existence. What more do we need? Oh, I forgot to mention the testimony of millions of changed lives. So the next time you’re out at night and you look up in the sky to see the moon, remember it’s His faithful witness in the sky.
It will be as eternal as the moon,My faithful witness in the sky!”
Psalms 89:37a
