I think it’s funny when I hear people talk so confidently about their future or their possessions. It’s like they are in control or own what they possess. We are not in control and we do not own anything. We are stewards of God’s possessions, and temporary residents here on earth. People who have no reverence for God and who don’t know Him, think the world revolves around themselves. Look at your typical teenager for example. Do I need to do any more explaining? We are not in control. We cannot do any thing for God that demands a payback. And we do not own anything. Yet we think we can bargain with God. Its all about our attitudes toward Him. It’s quite humorous when you think about it, isn’t it? We need to start living a life that honors God and others. It’s starts by being honest and real with ourselves. We must realize Who’s in charge and align our agenda with His.
