Socialism is not the answer. The Church is. Here in first Corinthians chapter 12, Paul talks about how each member of the Church serves a purpose. Each member is important. Each believer functions to make the Church whole and complete. We are to protect each other, honor each other, and care for each other. This creates harmony among believers, which allows things to get done. When the Church suffers, it’s members suffer, and when the Church is honored, all parts are glad. This surpasses socialism. It’s God’s way. It works. It always has, and always will. Believers need to focus on the concepts the Bible distinguishes as right, as obedient, and pleasing to God. We are all important. We all serve a purpose. Stop comparing yourself, as if you are in a competition. Each one of us serves a purpose, and as a whole, can accomplish all that God has in store for us. Synergistically we can do the impossible. Satan knows this. It’s why he so badly wants to destroy the Church. Fortunately for us, Jesus won’t allow that to happen. Jesus’ agenda is building it up.
So we carefully protect those parts that should not be seen, 24 while the more honorable parts do not require this special care. So God has put the body together such that extra honor and care are given to those parts that have less dignity. 25 This makes for harmony among the members, so that all the members care for each other. 26 If one part suffers, all the parts suffer with it, and if one part is honored, all the parts are glad.
