The Bible is a record of God doing His Will. It’s a book that allows us to know Who He is. It’s a book that teaches us to seek Him continually. It’s a record of History from God’s perspective. It’s His way of communicating with us (not the only way, but the #1 way). We should pattern our lives after this book. We should document everything God does for us on a daily basis (right it down in your own book: answered prayers, times of comfort, times in which He met a need). Not to add to the Bible, but be a reminder to us personally all that He has done for me (individually). So when the tough times come (and they will come), we can look back, and gain confidence, to move forward with hope. Hope that only God can grant us. How long do we seek out God? Continually.
4 Search for the Lord and for His strength;continually seek Him.
Psalms 105:4
