One huge difference between a true preacher of the Word and a huckster, is the accountability heard in their message. True followers always allow the hearer to know they are accountable to God. This prevents them from saying whatever they “feel” like saying, and empowers them to preach truth, even when it’s not popular.
17 You see, we are not like the many hucksters who preach for personal profit. We preach the word of God with sincerity and with Christ’s authority, knowing that God is watching us.
