A perfect depiction of our government today in America. Moral rot causes dissension. Why? Because the standard in which morality is based has been removed. A building, statue, or any large structure will not stand (for long) without a stable, solid base. Once you remove God from the mainstream: from businesses, schools, homes, families, and individuals, how can a heart make moral decisions without its Source? It can’t. God is the electricity that makes morality run. Unplug Him from society, and society stops working. Looking for another source (alternative energy source) doesn’t work, because God is the only source of life. Rot happens when life leaves its body. Immoral behavior stems from being spiritually dead. There’s only One Way to be brought back to life, it’s found in the resurrected Christ Jesus. People need to stop putting their faith in candidates running for office. The government will never save us, but putting people who share biblical values certainly can help. Get out and vote. Regardless of your political affiliation, vote morality and let God work with those closely aligned with His heart.
