Why we put such an emphasis on money throughout our lifetime is one of those things God must scratch His head about. In the end, money comes to nothing. We come into this world and leave this world with no place to carry anything tangible. That’s why we invest our time in eternal matters. That way, we get to reap what really matters when we get to Heaven, that which is eternal.
14 You will eat but never have enough. Your hunger pangs and emptiness will remain. And though you try to save your money, it will come to nothing in the end. You will save a little, but I will give it to those who conquer you.
