Not Better, Just Better Off….

The one thing that believers possess that the world cannot give is HOPE. Knowing God has my back, as well as my future creates a mindset and attitude that cannot be matched. Those who have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior, and who live it out by faith, have a “wonderful future”. For those that love peace, have a Spirit within them that saves them. For those that oppose God, who are rebellious to Him, and want to destroy all that is good and right, they have no future. That’s why they do what they do. They live in the “now”; knowing there is no hope, and no reward for what they do. Our God, the One we serve, rescues us in times of need. He helps us. He protects us from the wicked. He saves us, for He is our Shelter. Our hope in Him is a blessing that keeps us going. So never forget this. Our hope for our future is what sets us apart from the rest of the world. It doesn’t make us better, just better off.

37 Look at those who are honest and good,for a wonderful future awaits those who love peace.38 But the rebellious will be destroyed;they have no future. 39 The Lord rescues the godly;He is their fortress in times of trouble.40 The Lord helps them,rescuing them from the wicked.He saves them,and they find shelter in Him. Psalms 37:37-40
