Beyond Measure….

We all do it, take God for granted. I think it’s part of our selfish, sinful nature. That’s why it’s paramount to trust God. To place our faith in Jesus. By doing so we are constantly reminded by the Holy Spirit of all that He did, does, and continues to do for us. With that in mind, it’s so much easier to be grateful; thanking Him daily. Without God on our mind, it’s nearly impossible to be thankful in our heart. Only one out of ten of the healed lepers came back to thank Jesus after He healed them, 1 out of 10. All I know is that I want to be the one who came back. The one who thanked Him. Just one more reason to stay connected in the vine. The benefits of knowing God and pursuing Him, cannot be fully explained. But when it’s lived out, nothing compares to the peace, joy, and satisfaction it brings. Be thankful today for all He’s done for you. It’s beyond measure.

11 As Jesus continued on toward Jerusalem, He reached the border between Galilee and Samaria. 12 As He entered a village there, ten lepers stood at a distance, 13 crying out, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!”14 He looked at them and said, “Go show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went, they were cleansed of their leprosy.15 One of them, when he saw that he was healed, came back to Jesus, shouting, “Praise God!” 16 He fell to the ground at Jesus’ feet, thanking Him for what He had done. This man was a Samaritan.17 Jesus asked, “Didn’t I heal ten men? Where are the other nine? 18 Has no one returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?”19 And Jesus said to the man, “Stand up and go. Your faith has healed you.” Luke 17:11-19
