The foundation of our faith is established by what God has done for us. Our only right response is to be grateful to Him. Our thankfulness is our sacrifice, not the blood of bulls. We do this by being a man of his word. When we say we will do something, do it. When we make a promise to God, hold true to it, even if it means suffering to keep it. Placing God in the center of our life balances it out. Keeping our eyes on Him helps us maintain the right perspective. He is our Regulator, our Thermostat, our Confidence and Compass in life. Without Him, life doesn’t make sense. We are lost without Him, in so many ways we don’t even realize. Some think of “being lost” as an eternal thing (and it is for sure), but the lostness the Bible talks about has everything to do with living here on earth as well. Seek Him today. Seek Him everyday. When your heart is right with God, He makes right all that is important to you, and your priorities become His priorities. The end result is His glory.
14 Make thankfulness your sacrifice to God,and keep the vows you made to the Most High.15 Then call on Me when you are in trouble, and I will rescue you,and you will give Me glory.”
Psalms 50:14-15
