The only way to truly find yourself, is to lose yourself in God. God knows us better than we know ourselves. It’s by coming to know God, as the Bible tells us, that we truly find ourselves. We have to die to self. It’s exchanging Jesus’ life for our life. If we look inside of ourselves, as the world preaches, we will find out what we really are, sinners. The problem then becomes what do we do about it? We find out what we are by looking inside, but we don’t find “who we are” until we look to God, in Jesus. God knows our heart, trust Him with yours.
