Living life without God is pretending. Sooner or later your acting out this fake role will sap your strength. Then you’re left with a broken spirit. Jesus is the only remedy for a broken spirit. He is the best medicine to cure your condition. When you surrender to Him, your life may not be as “rosy” as the world paints it to be, but you’ll have the strength to endure, with a empowered spirit to see it through.
22 A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit saps a person’s strength.
Proverbs 17:22
