Whoever pursues righteousness and unfailing love will find God, for He is the Source of them. When we pursue God, we find life. Life does not consist of the abundance of our possessions, it’s the pursuit and relationship we establish with God that makes us whole. Loving mercy, practicing justice, and walking with God is what makes up living real life. It’s a shame that Satan has a way of distorting this truth, and we fall for it way too often. To think that things satisfy, it’s a lie and a cruel joke we’ve all experienced. Happiness that comes from possessing things is fleeting, and it never satisfies the longing of our souls for God.
21 Whoever pursues righteousness and unfailing lovewill find life, righteousness, and honor.
Proverbs 21:21
