Have you ever really asked yourself why in our society when we have opposition to our beliefs, the only solution we get is “accept their viewpoint or suffer”? Why is this the only acceptable answer to the debate? The answer is simple: the truth is not wanted. It’s as if the people with radical ideas want to “shut up” reality. Knowing the truth will cause them to second guess their agendas; to feel guilt. So to avoid that experience, it’s either accept my viewpoint or I’ll make you suffer for not accepting it. It puts their displeasure into action, giving them something to focus on, to fight for, instead of having to think about this immutable truth staring them in the face. This acceptance isn’t the answer for either party. Wrong is wrong regardless if it’s popular or not. God determines this, not people. Accepting someone’s viewpoint doesn’t make it right, even if it makes someone “feel” better. Talk about authentic “bullying”. The very thing they say they fight, they actually promote. Sounds very hypocritical to me. And yet people never examine the motives behind the controversial issues today enough to know the truth. Manipulation with always exist, especially in a hypocritical, lazy, and willfully, ignorant society. Kinda gives new meaning to Jesus’ statement, “the truth will set you free”, doesn’t it?
