Creating A god Of Our Own Liking….

There is only one God. Yes, there may be many gods (little g), but only One that can save us. Yet we strive to worship and serve the little gods. For some reason we must have some input into our worship that makes us feel good. Even if we can’t craft a god, we certainly can prescribe attributes we want him to have, thus creating a god of our “own liking”. This idolatry, replacing God with something else, is rampant in today’s society. The only solution to it, and we are all guilty in some ways, is to stop, and be still, and know God. The God of the Bible is the only true God. And Jesus is the only One that can truly save. That’s exactly what His name means. Is He Lord of your life?
