One lesson I used to teach my students was one of two pictures. I’d show them one picture and ask them to describe it. I would get all kinds of answers. Then I’d show the same picture from a wider angle view. It would reveal way more insight into the first picture. Every student would gasp when they saw the second picture, but then they would understand the point I was trying to make much clearer. My point in sharing this is the same for those who take a stand for being pro-life. They have been given a glimpse at the 2nd picture; the one that revealed more of the first. By getting this insight, they have a better, deeper understanding of what creation is all about. A better view of Who God is. Maybe what pro-lifers need to do is help the pro-choicers out there get a glimpse of the second picture. Then they might get it; a deeper insight into how complex we are, how wonderfully made we are, and how God is sovereign in it all. Maybe when they see the value God places in all of us, they’ll realize they have value too. And that value will change their views for good. It’s just a matter of getting the privilege of seeing the second picture.
13 You made all the delicate, inner parts of my bodyand knit me together in my mother’s womb.14 Thank You for making me so wonderfully complex!Your workmanship is marvelous–how well I know it.15 You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion,as I was woven together in the dark of the womb.16 You saw me before I was born.Every day of my life was recorded in Your book.Every moment was laid outbefore a single day had passed.
