Our mission as believers is simple, we are to point others to the truth. We are to encourage people to go to God for everything. It’s our words and actions, when they are consistent, that lead others to God. When we live out what we believe, people see authenticity in the reality of God’s existence. They see all that comes with an authentic life of faith. They see the real Object of our gratitude, the Recipient of our gratefulness. They see how we react to adversity and prosperity, and it gives people a real glimpse of Who God really is. In essence believers are to be like the moon (moonshiners), reflecting the light of the SON (Jesus). When people look at the moon, they know where the Light (truth) comes from.
16 In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.
