Could you imagine God showing you something, either in tangible form or in a detailed vision, and asking you to build one? You’d have a visual reference in your mind to use as the blueprint/instructions. God did this very thing with Moses when He instructed him to build the altar in Exodus. Do you ever hear someone say, “I made it from an idea I had in my head”. Or maybe, “it’s exactly how I saw it in my head”. Artists and creatives have this kind of mental vision. Actually we all do, it’s just a matter of listening and doing something about it. How do I know this? Because God Himself is the ultimate Creator, and He has made us in His image. The downside to this is when we don’t nurture our creative side it dies. Once dead, there’s no reviving it, without Divine intervention. If we ask God for instructions, He will always provide a way. When He does, be ready to act on it, so when the final piece comes together, you can credit Him with the idea. God is the Father of creativity. We all have. Put it to good use today.
8 The altar must be hollow, made from planks. Build it just as you were shown on the mountain.
