The number one reason there are problems in the Church today can be traced all the way back to Jesus’ day. The reason people don’t know God is because they don’t take the time to read and study the scriptures. It’s that simple. If you are not taking time to know God (by reading His word), then how can you expect to be in His will, or be doing what pleases Him if you’re clueless as to what He wants? How can you have a relationship with someone if you never spend time with them? If you want to know God, and know yourself, get into His word. You can’t know what you don’t try to know. This is the problem of the Church today.
