God knows the secrets of every heart. That’s why it’s so important to know Him and get right with Him. People can pretend to believe, they can tell themselves whatever they want to justify their lack of pursuit of knowing Him, but in the end, the credits will roll identifying and separating the character that actor tried to portray. Pretending to believe only fools the person doing the acting, it doesn’t fool the Director of Life. The more we know God, the better we understand ourselves. If more people could just accept the reality of this truth, God wouldn’t be Someone we see as an adversary. God is for us. We just have to get over ourselves first (repent), in order for God to fill us with His Spirit. You can't add more to a cup that is already full (full of ourselves), can you? God knows every heart, He should, for He made every single one of them.
