The benefit of being a humble, truth seeking, God-honoring, honest follower of Jesus, is that the words we use won’t give us a beat down for speaking them. However, arrogant, prideful words will always comeback to haunt you in the future. When you speak the truth, in a respectful, God-honoring way, you never have to worry about what you said.
3 A fool’s proud talk becomes a rod that beats him, but the words of the wise keep them safe.
Proverbs 14:3
