Adversity Drives A Man On….

What most people in America don’t realize about work, specifically facing adversity, is that not being able to put food on your table drives you to find work, and work hard in doing so. Adversity drives a man on, giving him purpose. This concept is what makes America great. When welfare and bad government decisions enable those that can work to stay at home and be provided for, laziness takes over. Why work when you don’t have to? Another Biblical truth passed over in favor of coddling the already corrupt human nature. One more reason “being saved” helps America. With God’s Spirit inside you, you realize laziness is detrimental not only to you, but society as a whole. Having an appetite because you work hard is a good thing, not something we should be ashamed of or see as a burden.

26 It is good for workers to have an appetite; an empty stomach drives them on. Proverbs 16:26
