Here’s the simplest truth about God and life. If you pursue God with 100% of your heart, you will find, come to know, and grow deeper in relationship to Him. The reason people don’t know God is because they are not looking for Him to begin with. They wouldn’t recognize Him even if He walked right in front of them (which probably has happened). You know God by seeking Him out. When you do that, He reveals Himself to you. Someone may ask, “how do you know which god is real”? I’d answer that with, “if you truly want to know the One and Only God, ask”. He will show up when you seek Him with all of your heart. He will never deny or allow a seeker-sensitive-soul to be deceived with the chance to know Him.
“If you love Me, obey My commandments.16 And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you.17 He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive Him, because it isn’t looking for Him and doesn’t recognize Him. But you know Him, because He lives with you now and later will be in you.
