No matter how much we think we are right. No matter how much we want to do it ourselves. No matter how much we care or do not care. No matter how much we want to do it “our” way. No matter how “fail proof” we think our plans are. No matter what, God’s purposes always prevail. They prevail regardless if we are for Him or against Him. They prevail with or without us. They even prevail when we are in opposition to them. Take this truth to heart and stop fighting the impossible. We cannot separate the pleasure from the purpose, or the pain from the consequence. The only way you can win is to be on His side. It may not always be fun, or glorious, or stress-free, but you will always prevail in the end. If the end goal of humanity is for man to seek God and bring Him glory, why not do it willingly?
21 You can make many plans, but the Lord’s purpose will prevail.
Proverbs 19:21
