The right attitude of a Christian, hangs on one important thing: God’s sovereignty. It doesn’t matter what others think about us. It doesn’t even matter what we think about ourselves. What matters is what God thinks. When we align our mentality to this principle, along side of God’s heart, we can say, like Daniel, Job, Paul, Peter, Meshach, Shadrach, and Abindego (and many others), “we are responsible to God; serving Him is our utmost duty, we must die to self”. Can you say this?
2 Now, a person who is put in charge as a manager must be faithful. 3 As for me, it matters very little how I might be evaluated by you or by any human authority. I don’t even trust my own judgment on this point. 4 My conscience is clear, but that doesn’t prove I’m right. It is the Lord Himself who will examine me and decide.
1 Corinthians 4:2-4
