Trust, it’s a multifaceted word. It’s a concept that can either make a human being feel secure or betrayed. The most important concept when it comes to trust is where you decide to place it. Placing it in human beings, opens yourself up to be hurt, let down, or betrayed? Or do you place your sacred trust in God? “Trust in God” is on our money, that should tell us something. Trust in God may seem at times to temporarily disappoint, but when we walk completely through it, we find out it was not disappointment in Him, but disappointment in our own choice to place it in someone else. Yes, love and trust people, but be prepared for betrayal and heartache. Save your sacred trust for God alone. The more you trust Him, the more secure you’ll be as you walk among people on this earth. In the end you’ll never experience being betrayed by Him. Do what money tells us to do, “In God We Trust”.
22 Don’t put your trust in mere humans. They are as frail as breath. What good are they?
Isaiah 2:22
