Never Let One Example Be Your Only Example….

I’ve always told people, who look for excuses to not follow God, to never let one example (usually bad) be your only example of Christianity. People will fail you. Christians will make mistakes. People will say things that are not godly. But God will never fail us. He will never forsake us, if we obey and pursue Him whole-heartedly. The reason people use bad examples of Christian behavior is to justify their lack of commitment to God. They use these bad examples, or weaknesses, to justify their desire to not go to church, or to not do the right thing. In the end, they are just excuses to not follow God. One person’s example may be a legitimate reason someone comes to Christ, but it will never be a substantial factor for denying Him. Never forget this.

Dear friend, don’t let this bad example influence you. Follow only what is good. Remember that those who do good prove that they are God’s children, and those who do evil prove that they do not know God. 3 John 1:11
