What is God’s will for us? According to Paul in 1 Thes. 5 it’s for us to always be joyful, never stop praying, and to be thankful in all circumstances. Our closeness to God determines our ability to do God’s will. Do you see the correlation? Joyful because of God’s grace. Constant prayer, to be in communication with Him daily. Being thankful to Him for all He has done. Do you see this? Does it help paint a clearer picture of what it means to walk with God, like Adam did in the garden before the fall?
16 Always be joyful. 17 Never stop praying. 18 Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
