I bet if social media was around in Paul’s day, he’d address it the same way he addressed Timothy in 1 Tim. 4. Don’t waste time arguing things with non-believers. Don’t waste time in hearsay or gossip. Social media does serve a purpose, but it’s probably more abused than beneficial today in America. Spend your time investing; investing in God’s word and putting it into practice, helping others in their times of need, then your conscience will flourish and help you become more alive.
7 Do not waste time arguing over godless ideas and old wives’ tales. Instead, train yourself to be godly.
1 Timothy 4:7
