One of the saddest and common tragedies in life is when people know the truth, know what to do about it, but still do nothing. By neglecting our obligation to God, one thing is guaranteed: we are slowly poisoning our conscience to the point of death. Once dead, there’s no reviving it on our own. A dead conscience is the greatest, self-inflicted tragedy on planet earth. Are you neglecting yours?
Now the Holy Spirit tells us clearly that in the last times some will turn away from the true faith; they will follow deceptive spirits and teachings that come from demons. 2 These people are hypocrites and liars, and their consciences are dead.
1 Timothy 4:1-2
